New to Running? Not sure how to Get Started Running? Then this is for you!
Driven by movement and a passion for running, coaches Andrea and Dr. Kara will lead you through a 10-week in person clinic to introduce you to running. From technique, proper form and to finding your stride and injury prevention the clinic will work to build the foundations to allow you to run a steady pace for 5K. Each week your coaches will lead you through a proper warm-up, review a new skill and then the best part, go for a run followed by a proper cool down of course! Our goal is to have you fall in love with running and to be race-ready, giving high fives when you cross that finish line. Startline is the beginner runner’s guide to hitting the pavement or trails mindfully, one step at a time.

Price: $130 including a 10-week run clinic as an introduction to running with curated in-person run workouts focusing on technique along with warm-up, cool down and guest speakers – it truly takes a village and we’re here to get you started!
Frequently Asked Questions
- What pace will you be running the Tuesday runs at?
Because our focus is to work with new runners and build to a 5k continuous run, we are not committed to a pace. Our goal is to keep runners together in the community and to keep moving forward- no runner is left behind. Startline is for a beginner runner – we all have to start somewhere. - I can’t make every day of the clinic- can I get a refund for the days I’m not able to commit?
We understand that life is busy. Travel, work, family responsibilities can all get in the way of running! We strongly suggest that you do everything in your power to arrange to make every day of the clinic – it’s how you will notice improvements in your run! Please know that you will be provided with a weekly training plan and you will be able to complete the runs on your own time if you can’t make the group run on Tuesday. We believe we are creating something truly unique and of value to you as you learn to run- and our pricing will maintain as it is regardless of the number of sessions you can attend. - What happens if I get sick? Can I get a refund?
Sick happens. When that happens, it is important to honour your body and give it the rest that it needs, as well as honour the health of the community- please stay home! You can simply join back in when you are well. For a refund, we would need a medical note indicating you are not able to complete the clinic. - What happens if I get injured? Can I get a refund?
We intend to teach you to run in the safest way possible while keeping you injury-free with a great warm-up and post-run self-care every time. Injuries can happen and it is important that when they happen, you follow the advice of a medical professional (chiropractor, physiotherapist, medical doctor, etc) on the amount of time off and when to return. If you have made it halfway, we are not able to provide a refund. If you don’t make it halfway, we can provide a refund with a note from your medical professional. - What about Covid?
We currently follow all provincially and federally regulated COVID guidelines. While the risk of transmission of COVID-19 is low during physically space outdoor activities, if you feel the need to wear a mask please feel free to do so.
