Tennis Elbow

Lateral Epicondylitis, better known as tennis elbow, is a fairly painful condition in which the tendons of your elbow are overloaded due to overuse. Despite its athletic name, tennis elbow is a common condition in other professions in where people make repetitive motions of the arm and wrist, such as being at a computer for a long period or using tools such as a carpenter or mechanic.

If you have tennis elbow, you’re probably experiencing moderate pain in the elbow and possibly even in your wrist or forearm. Tennis elbow can be debilitating since it will reduce your range of motion or make you unable to use your arm entirely. Plus, you’ll be in constant pain and may find it difficult to perform every day tasks such as opening a door or pouring yourself a cup of coffee.

Our Doctors and therapists at Kinetic Living can assist with recommended home care, manual therapy and acupuncture to restore function and assist with healing.
